

Boys South Captures First Win. North Girls Defeat South.
In the fourth year of the Under Armour All-America Lacrosse Classic, the Boys South team defeated the North for the first time. Chris LaPierre was named MVP, scoring two goals and assisting on four goals, as the North beat the South 19 to 16. On the girls side, the North defeated the South 12 to 9, as Stephanie Anderson was named MVP, recording three goals and one assist. For the game blog from Inside Lacrosse for the boys, click here. This year the Underclassman tournament saw four new regions including Long Island, Midwest, New England, and Upstate New York. Long Island had a solid showing as the boys won the Championship going undefeated. The Long Island girls made it to the championship but lost to the defending Champs, Baltimore. In the boys championship Long Island defeated Upstate New York 8-5, as Will Himler was awarded Underclass MVP. The Baltimore girls beat Long Island 15- 12, with Covie Stanwick earning Underclass MVP.
