UNDERCLASSMEN GAMES

2008 UNDERCLASSMEN GAMES

Due to the success and impact of the Under Armour All-America Lacrosse Classic event over the past two years, we broadened the Underclassman Games to include a four-team tournament for both girls and boys.

In 2008, we held tryouts and selected non-senior players from the nation's four lacrosse hotbeds.

The new Under Armour All-Stars will represent Baltimore, Philadelphia, New Jersey and Washington, D.C. and will come to Baltimore on July 12 to participate in the two-game tournament in front of lacrosse fans and college coaches.

ELIGIBILITY: Boys and girls who, in June 2008, will have just completed their freshman, sophomore or junior season. You must live within the geographic region for the team you are trying our for and be in good academic standing. Teams include: Baltimore All-Stars, New Jersey All-Stars, Philadelphia All-Stars and Washington, D.C. All-Stars

SELECTION: Players will be judged by a panel of knowledgeable sources including coaching experts from that region. Each team will consist of a maximum of 24 players and will be chosen based on position and their performance at that day's tryout.

ATHLETE BENEFITS: College Coaches from DI, DII & DIII lacrosse programs will be invited to attend both the regional tryouts as well as the games in Baltimore. Participants who play in the Underclassmen games will have the inside track to being exposed to the selection committee of the Under Armour All-America team which they will be eligble for once they are seniors. All participants will receive a FREE one-year subscription to Inside Lacrosse Magazine and an Under Armour Tech Tee.
