Coach Ross has been the head coach at Northport High School since 1990. Recently won the 2011 New York State Championship. In those 21 years she has won the Suffolk County Championship ten times (1996-1999, 2002-2004, 2006, 2008-2009), the Long Island Championship/Regional Champs six times (1996-1999, 2003-2004), and led her team to the New York State Championship game twice (1996, 1998). Coach Ross was named the Suffolk Coach of the Year in 2003, 2006, and 2009, and also named Newsday All-Long Island Coach of the Year in 2003-2004. During her career, over 50 Northport HS players have been named All-Americans, and over 70 athletes have gone onto Division I programs. Carol is currently the CEO of Long Island Elite Lacrosse Club, and teaches Physical Education at Northport Middle School.
