Groves was the head coach for Century the last two seasons and was the assistant coach for the three years prior. She has enjoyed winning three state titles and appeared in four state finals. This year she led Century to an 18-1 record winning the 2A/3A state title and only lost to No.1 ranked McDonogh. Century has earned a No.1 Maryland public school ranking and a No. 5 national ranking during her tenure. As a head coach, she has a combined record of 33-4. In addition to her success as a coach, Groves earned All-America honors during her playing career at Towson University.
